Membership terms
Version 2026-10-05.1
Membership
- Membership is by invitation while ARC is tested with a small group.
- You must be 18 or older to be a member. You confirm this when you join.
- Your account is for you alone. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
- Give accurate details when you join, and keep your email address current so ARC can reach you.
What ARC is, and what it is not
ARC offers wellbeing guidance, reflection and community. It is not medical care. ARC does not diagnose, treat or replace a doctor, therapist or other professional, and nothing in the app is medical advice. The Companion is an AI; its replies can be wrong or incomplete, so use your own judgement and ask a professional about your health.
ARC is not an emergency or crisis service. The Companion is an AI. No one at ARC reads conversations as they happen, and ARC cannot contact emergency services for you. If a message suggests you may be at risk, the Companion shows emergency numbers and support lines, and records that it did so (not your words). A member of the ARC team reviews these records on working days to check the response worked.
If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency services straight away: 999 in the UAE (or 112 from a mobile).
Your ARC State and scores are estimates built from what you tell ARC, not clinical measurements.
BIORIM Credits
- BIORIM Credits are internal member credits awarded for activity in ARC under the rules shown in the app at the time.
- They are not money and not an investment. They cannot be bought, sold or transferred to anyone else.
- Redeeming credits is not available in this release.
- ARC corrects a balance when an award was made in error, or when the thing it was awarded for is withdrawn or removed, for example a deleted post or a withdrawn event attendance. Corrections appear in your credit history.
The community
Be respectful. In particular, do not:
- harass, threaten or demean anyone;
- post spam, advertising or misleading health claims;
- share someone else's personal information without their permission;
- try to earn credits by gaming the rules, for example with repeated or fake activity.
You can report posts, comments and members, and block anyone. Reports go to ARC's moderators, who can remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow ARC to store it and show it to the members who can see it, for as long as it stays on ARC. You can delete your posts and comments at any time.
Features not available in this release
Payments, paid subscriptions, paid bookings, credit redemption, wearable device connections and spoken Companion conversations are switched off. Where the app mentions them, they are not yet available.
Ending your membership
You can close your account at any time from the Trust Centre. The privacy notice explains what is deleted and what is kept. ARC can suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other members at risk.
